Valley Forged uses the practices of Strength and Conditioning and social activity of human beings to bring together a community of individuals who venture for a better lifestyle. Lamar Grier

Lamar Grier is an Army veteran (2007-2011) serving a single tour in Iraq (2009-2010) as a Signal Support Communications Specialist.
Military experience allowed Lamar to hone his discipline, focus and fitness. This new gained experience in combination with being a decorated high school athlete and 10+ years in the fitness industry makes him the perfect coach. Joey Salazar

Joey Salazar, began his fitness journey at the age of 8 playing football and wrestling. He played successful football to the junior college level. After football came to a conclusion. He found a home in Crossfit. This new found home gave him the comfort of competition.

Joey holds two Crossfit certifications. The first in Crossfit Olympic Lifting and is a Level 1 Certified Crossfit Coach. He currently holds and an Associates in Exercise Science. Joey is currently pursuing his B.S. in Biology at the California State University, Fresno.
